Faith

Never is it so hard to distinguish between courage and persistant ignorance as in the domain of religious belief.

When I meet a man who believes incredible things, I am always torn between admiration and revulsion.

There is something both desirable and unstable about purity. It is the instability that disturbs me. (re: Simone Weil)
